Equipment Introduction
1.1 Equipment model: HY2.8-4000KVA zirconia alumina electric arc
furnace equipment;
1.2 Equipment Usage: Mainly used for smelting abrasives and
refractory materials such as zirconia corundum, fused alumina,
mullite, etc.;
1.3 Equipment form: The zirconia corundum furnace adopts a fixed
tube water-cooled furnace cover, top feeding, top blowing oxygen,
and the outer walls of the upper and lower furnace bodies (lower
furnace bodies) are cooled by spray water structure. The furnace
body tilts and discharges materials, and is divided into left and
right operation forms. The electrode lifting adopts a variable
frequency motor or fully hydraulic lifting form, and can be
controlled by a programmable regulator for automatic control.

(2) Structural features:
2.1 Fixed tube or plate water-cooled furnace cover, top feeding,
top blowing oxygen, upper and lower furnace shells, and spray water
cooling structure outside the lower furnace wall;
2.2 Each phase adopts an energy-saving short net arranged in a
spatial triangle, consisting of two large section water-cooled
cables, compensators, through wall copper bars, copper steel
composite conductive cross arms (trolley lifting type), etc. Short
network impedance value ≤ 3m Ω, three-phase impedance imbalance ≤
8%;
2.3 Advanced and reliable variable frequency motor type electrode
lifting automatic regulator: capable of automatic and manual
operation. Arc current setting range: 25% -150% lm. Electrode
response time: 0.15S.
2.4 The tilting of the furnace body adopts hydraulic transmission
and integrates block type hydraulic valves;
The 2.5 electrode clamp adopts a belt clamping method, which is
reliable and has a long service life.
2.6 The electrode clamping adopts pneumatic driving method.
2.7 The electrode automatic lifting regulator is controlled by a
Siemens PLC programmable controller from Germany.
2.8 The primary voltage of the transformer is 10KV, and the
secondary voltage is 220-110V. No load electric voltage regulation,
top outlet method;
The cooling water system has pressure and water temperature
monitoring, as well as sound and light alarms. To prevent power
outages, users need to install high-level water tanks.
2.10 The parameters of the electric furnace are monitored and
managed by industrial computers.
3. Mechanical Structure Description and Working Principle
The zirconia corundum furnace is a fixed straight tube water-cooled
furnace cover, top loading, and top blowing oxygen. The furnace
body platform is a fixed axis tilting method, and the external
spray water cooling structure of the furnace wall is formed. Its
mechanical part consists of the following parts:
